Great hotel with excellent location in town. Staff was wonderful...had an issue with the toilet upon checking in and was able to switch to another room, no hassle. They offer a complimentary ride courtesy of the local taxi service to and from the airport ferry if you flew into town. Overall a great experience as this was my first time visiting Alaska.
A great hotel in a central location in the city. Since I arrived well before the regular check-in time, I was able to leave my luggage there. I was also notified by email by the friendly receptionist that my room would be ready early. The reception staff was always very friendly, helpful, and always available for a quick chat. I can recommend the hotel to everyone. The attached Gilmore Cafe and Restaurant were also very good and I highly recommend it. If I stay in Ketchikan again, this hotel will be my first choice!
Perfect location in Ketchikan. Walking distance to all the best restaurants and attractions. Service is excellent, Annabelle’s is a nice restaurant attached. If you’re going to Ketchikan, don’t expect modern and new. That’s not why you come. This hotel is a comfortable old dame with a great responsive staff in a great location.
Historical building, Great location. Small rooms and bathroom, but worth the stay!! Hotel staff is beyond friendly and is available for all needs. Nice proximity to Annabelle's for room service. Easy walking to all parts historic.
Nice little spot if you’re hanging g out in Ketchikan for any length of time. I’ve stayed here twice in the last couple of weeks and Anthe at the front desk is great! Cab rides to the Ferry are very helpful and the attached restaurant, Annabelle’s, is great for dinner:) I would stay here again. The rooms have character and the staff are super helpful.
Hotel was built in 1927 so rooms are a bit outdated. However, the staff was amazing. Had an issue with the toilet in my room and was immediately moved to a new room. Location is perfect for going out to various shops, bars, and restaurants. Staff even helped me out with a ride to the laundromat so I didn’t have to pay for a taxi. Def recommend!!
